Who co-founded Project Pilot Pro?
David Brinn, Co-Founder
David Brinn is a licensed and insured general contractor with more than 10 years in the role, and he owns a construction company. He's done kitchens, bathrooms and structural changes, and he's renovated or improved more than 2,000 apartment units.
He has worked directly with homeowners, property owners, developers and property management companies, and he knows the problems of managing a construction project firsthand: inaccurate budgeting, contractor coordination, material selection, scheduling delays, change orders and communication breakdowns. Contractors have software built for running their side of the job. Homeowners mostly have spreadsheets, notes and the contractor's word. David co-founded Project Pilot Pro to make professional-level construction planning and project management tools accessible to homeowners.

Where does a professional take over?
At the price, the design and the permit. Your contractor's written quote sets what the job costs, and design, structural and code questions go to a licensed professional and your local building department.
